The mobile application "Rzhevka AR" provides an opportunity to see the historical buildings of the Krasnogvardeysky district using modern-augmented reality technology, which currently do not exist. Their three-dimensional models were created from archival materials collected by the staff of the Rzhevskaya library.

Appendix "Rzhevka AR" works in two modes. You will need a phone with a free application installed and virtual reality glasses.

When pointing at a special label with a description of the lost monument in the mode "Quest in the library" in the virtual space, its three-dimensional model arises. Approaching or moving away from the mark, you can examine the object from all sides in detail.

The "Augmented Reality" mode allows you to see a three-dimensional image without virtual reality glasses - just point the phone at the mark and a building will appear on its screen.

In the "History of objects" section you can see archival images and read brief information about the time and place of construction of monuments that have not survived to this day.
